Yes – we are working on adding mapping features to the web site for desktop and smart phone access – watch this space!

I am very new to this program and have just recently downloaded the iPhone app. I like it so far, but am having a little trouble. What is the number showing up on my app icon? I have taken a couple pictures and “sent” them, but they are not showing up in my stream. If I e-mail them to my personal address, they will show up, but not if sent directly from my phone. Any ideas?

We are sorry you are having some problems. If the pictures are pending (with the number on the application icon) then you do need to be in the application (and preferably on a 3G or WiFi connection) to send them. If you enter the application first it will load the web view and the map view in the background (to check this is complete go to the map view and wait for the map to be displayed). Once this is complete then within about 15 seconds the pending pictures should start to be sent. Depending on your connection speed the whole process could take from 30 secs to several minutes. In general pictures can only be uploaded when the phone is on and the application is open. We hope it will be possible to change this with a future iPhone software release. Thank you for your interest in SnapMyLife and please do email support@snapmylife.com if you continue to have any problems.
